Knowledge Exchange Projects

KEPs

Knowledge Exchange Projects are an opportunity for students to organise and curate different ways of sharing their expertise and an essential part of the Doctoral Training Programme. Whether it be through workshops, exhibitions, or performances, the aim is to find dynamic ways of moving knowledge into the public sphere and connecting academic and non-academic communities.

What is the benefit?

For researchers, this is a chance to think creatively and practically while gaining experience in making your specialist work impactful. It is a way of getting your research out into the material world and of framing your broader sphere of knowledge in various contexts for a variety of audiences.

For our partners, it is a way of mobilising the knowledge and skills of exceptional researchers to develop existing programs and to create new ones. As the projects are bridges between the different sectors and groups, they offer a unique way of capturing new visitors and new knowledge.
