    Three panels of work-in-progress presentations by PhD students from different academic institutions working on related issues, a series of research training and career development sessions led by experts in the field and related very specifically to research in film and television. The event has been shaped with the idea of giving PhD students researching in this field the opportunity to share ideas, research methodologies and knowledge within an informal but still academic environment. The idea behind it is bringing together PhD students at different stages in their work in order to give them the possibility to confront each other and potentially contributing to each other’s research.
