 iva Survivor\nThe viva is the culmination of your PhD process: a lot of wo
 rk has led to this point\, but a feeling of anxiety can go hand-in-hand wi
 th the sense of achievement at completing your thesis. For many PhD candid
 ates the time leading up to the viva is filled with stress about the day\,
  and uncertainty about what their examiners may ask.\nViva Survivor is a h
 alf day workshop\, led by Dr Nathan Ryder\, viva coach\, author and creato
 r of the Viva Survivors podcast\, which can help you to prepare effectivel
 y for your viva\, so you can approach it with confidence.\n&nbsp\;\nWho is
  this workshop for?\nViva Survivor is a session for postgraduate researche
 rs who are close to submitting their thesis and who want to get some ideas
  about how best to prepare for their upcoming viva.\nDuring the session we
  will consider the purpose of the viva and different approaches to prepari
 ng for it.\n&nbsp\;\nBy the end of the session participants will:\n\n\n 	\
 nHave a better understanding of what to expect during their viva\n\n 	\nBe
  able to identify sources of support for their viva preparation\n\n 	\nHav
 e developed strategies to prepare themselves and their thesis for the viva
 \n\n 	\nHave explored questions that are frequently asked in vivas\n\n\n&n
 bsp\;\nWhat previous participants have said:\n“Everything about it was u
