DESCRIPTION:This event will take place at Stage@Leeds\, University of Leeds
 \n\nFacilitated by: Professor Roberta Mock\n\nRoberta Mock is Professor of
  Performance Studies and Director of the Doctoral College at the Universit
 y of Plymouth. She is also the Chair of the Theatre &amp\; Performance Res
 earch Association (TaPRA). Roberta was a founding co-director of the AHRC-
 funded 3D3 Centre for Doctoral Training\, which focuses solely on practice
 -led research in the digital arts\, design and performance. Her theoretica
 l\, historical and practice research tends to explore gender\, sexuality a
 nd the body in performance\, with a particular interest in stand-up comedy
  and live art. \n\nThis two-day training covers the following areas:\n\n 
 	Situating Practice (as) Research\n 	Disciplinarity\, creative process and
  research methods\n 	Knowledge generation vs knowledge sharing/presentatio
 n\n 	Data and documentation\n 	Collaboration and ethical considerations\n 
 	Writing about/as practice\n\nDay one will conclude with a roundtable on t
 he theme of "Finding solutions to the challenges of a practice-research pr
